Some venues carry a kind of magic that seems to settle in the air. The Ritz Paris is one of them. Every corner breathes elegance. Every salon feels like it holds a story. For many couples, getting married there is a dream rooted in childhood, imagination, and a desire for timeless beauty.
For Matilda, that dream had been alive for years. She wanted a princess wedding, infused with glamour, softness, and the refined atmosphere that defines the Ritz. When she and Alexandre chose to celebrate their union at this iconic Parisian hotel, she already envisioned a floral universe filled with white and pink blooms, delicate textures, and an overall sense of enchanting luxury.
Atelier Mimoza had the honor of designing the floral experience for their wedding — a day filled with grace, emotion, and couture-like floral details. In this article, we invite you to walk through the atmosphere we created for this celebration at the Ritz Paris, from the ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Stephen to the refined reception in one of the city’s most prestigious venues.

The Ritz Paris holds a unique place in the world of luxury weddings. Located in the heart of Place Vendôme, it combines classical French architecture with the elegance of haute couture. The interiors offer warm light, rich textures, and a sense of intimacy that contrasts beautifully with the grandeur of the building.
For couples who dream of a wedding that feels both royal and personal, the Ritz delivers an unforgettable experience. The salons provide sophisticated backdrops for receptions. The gardens, though discreet, offer serenity. And the staff ensures every moment flows with ease.

Designing florals at the Ritz is a privilege. The space embraces lush arrangements and couture details. It invites softness but also structure. Because the hotel has a strong design identity, florals must align with its classicism while adding a layer of personal style.
For Matilda and Alexandre, we approached the floral design like a dialogue between Parisian refinement and romantic fantasy. The color palette — white, cream, and a refined gradient of pink — blended seamlessly with the décor. Each arrangement echoed the luxury of the setting without overwhelming it.
From our very first conversation, Matilda knew what she wanted. She imagined a glamorous wedding with flowers everywhere, but with intention. Matilda did not want foliage, she preferred clean compositions that highlighted the blooms themselves. She loved white and pink, wanted elegance, abundance, and softness.
Her style was clear:
This clarity guided every floral choice.
Working with a gradient of pink and the purity of white creates harmony. It also adds depth. Instead of mixing many colors, we played with shades. Pale blush, rose quartz, creamy ivory, and pure white shaped the visual identity of the wedding.
This palette created:
It also aligned perfectly with the Ritz Paris aesthetic.
Matilda and Alexandre’s religious ceremony took place at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Stephen, a historic and spiritual gem in Paris. The cathedral’s architecture, with its icons and golden details, provided a majestic frame for the couple’s vows.
The floral arrangements had to complement this sacred ambiance. They had to be elegant, pure, and respectful of the space.
We designed:
The absence of foliage kept the look refined. The cathedral’s light enhanced the pastel tones. Everything felt harmonious, serene, and deeply romantic.

The bridal bouquet played a central role in the aesthetic. Crafted entirely with delicate white and pale pink blooms, it felt airy and feminine. Its shape remained soft, almost cloud-like, with a sense of movement that echoed the bride’s personality.
When Matilda entered the cathedral holding her bouquet, the entire space seemed to brighten. Her vision, carried for years, took shape in that moment.

For the reception, held at the Ritz Paris, we wanted the florals to feel sculptural and glamorous. The hotel’s classic décor required arrangements that were abundant yet refined. Because Matilda preferred a flower-only look, the compositions needed texture, variety, and balance.
We worked with prestige flowers such as:
Each arrangement aimed to create an atmosphere of elegance and romantic grandeur.

The reception tables were one of the focal points of the evening. They needed to feel luxurious without appearing heavy. So we designed airy, floral-only centerpieces where blooms layered in soft waves. Subtle height variations created movement and visual interest.
The absence of foliage allowed:
Candles added warmth and depth. Their soft glow amplified the romantic palette and highlighted the textures of the flowers.
As guests entered the reception space, they stepped into a floral dream. Pink and white tones embraced the room. The blooms appeared almost luminous under the Ritz Paris lighting. The atmosphere felt intimate, elegant, and celebratory.
This is one of the strengths of the Ritz: the venue amplifies delicate florals beautifully. Every detail finds its place. Nothing feels excessive. Everything feels chic.

A wedding is more than décor. It is a sequence of moments. It is music, movement, encounters, and emotion.
Throughout the evening, the ambiance shifted gracefully:
The florals supported each moment. They created continuity. They added softness to the luxury of the venue.

The photographer, Audrey Neracoulis, captured the intimate details of the floral design with sensitivity. Her way of working with natural light highlighted the pastel palette. She also captured the emotional depth of the cathedral ceremony and the glamour of the Ritz reception.
Strong imagery plays a crucial role for floral storytelling. In weddings like this one, where every detail is intentional, photography becomes a bridge between memory and artistry.
Atelier Mimoza believes floral design should feel like an extension of the couple. It should carry emotion. It should tell a story. For Matilda and Alexandre, the story was about elegance, beauty, and a sense of dreamy luxury.
We designed with intention and with softness. Selected each bloom carefully. Stayed close to the couple’s vision while adding our signature touch: timeless refinement, clean structure, and a sense of poetry.
Creating florals at the Ritz Paris requires sensitivity. The venue has a strong visual identity. It already carries elegance and prestige. To design florals there, we focus on balance. We aim to elevate without overwhelming. Bring texture without cluttering. Add softness without losing sophistication.
This wedding represents the harmony between venue and floral artistry. It shows how a monochrome palette, handled with care, can transform a room and create an atmosphere worthy of a dream.
The Ritz Paris holds a special place in the hearts of couples who value refinement. It is intimate yet grand. Romantic yet structured. Luxurious yet warm. Very few venues in the world offer such a unique combination.
Couples choose the Ritz for:
Every wedding there feels elevated. Every detail shines. And every moment feels like part of a fairytale.
Floral-heavy weddings thrive in settings like the Ritz. The décor enhances each bloom. The lighting reveals subtle tones. The interiors frame compositions beautifully.
Matilda and Alexandre’s wedding showed how powerful floral design can be when paired with a venue that understands its purpose. Together, they created a world of softness, glamour, and Parisian elegance.

Atelier Mimoza is deeply committed to creating floral experiences that feel both artistic and emotional. We want each event to be unforgettable. We want each space to feel alive. And we want each couple to recognize themselves in the atmosphere we create.
For Matilda and Alexandre, this meant embracing their love for luxury, understatement, and romantic fantasy. Their wedding was a celebration of their identity, their story, and their dreams.
When the night ended, the room still carried the soft scent of roses. The candles glowed gently. The flowers remained luminous. These small details capture what we always hope to create: a moment suspended in beauty.
This wedding at the Ritz Paris will remain one of those memories where elegance meets emotion — a day shaped by love, artistry, and the magic of Paris.
