She came prepared with a detailed mood board, highlighting her aesthetic preferences. Initially, she was drawn to darker, bolder colors, particularly deep burgundy and fuchsia as dominant tones. However, as we collaborated and discussed her springtime wedding at Château de Champlâtreux, Sandy decided to incorporate a softer, more delicate color palette that would harmonize with the season and setting.
The final color scheme retained touches of fuchsia while blending in soft hues like powder blue, pale pink, creamy yellow, and ivory. This combination not only captured the freshness of spring but also added a touch of romance and sophistication that suited the château’s timeless elegance. Our design approach focused on maintaining a balance of vibrant and soft colors to create an atmosphere that was both lively and refined.
